GETTING A PLAN OF ACTION
When you are preparing to sell your home, your first step should be getting a plan of action together. This often starts with getting a vision for what you want in your new home. Dream big and use your experiences from your current home or apartment to guide you. Some great questions to ask yourself are:
- What are my MUST HAVES?
- How many bedrooms and bathrooms are a must?
- How big of home do we need?
- What did you learn from your current home that you might want to avoid?
- What areas, towns, cities, neighborhoods will be in the new home search?
Next we can begin to form a timeline of when you want to sell and when you want to be into your next home. What you should expect will be very different if you want to be into your new home in 1 month or if your plan is still a year out.
Finally, we take a look at your current home. I can give you a great, data-driven analysis of your home’s value in today’s market and show you how to maximize the price we can sell your home for. Getting your home ready to sell can not only make sure you get the most money for your home it can also help ensure a timely sale. I work with an amazing home staging specialist that can handle any job big or small. I can also advise you on options for room layouts, what to possibly move to storage or declutter, and even if a simple coat of paint could make all the difference. Often these small changes really improve the look and feel of your home to potential buyers.
LOCKING IN INTEREST RATES
