Lakefront Luxury

Lakefront homes bring about benefits such as private or association access, views, and exclusivity. Typically lakefront homes command some type of premium suimply for their incredible location. If you're looking directly on Lake Michigan, you can expect to pay a premium for the privilege of owning that highly coveted piece of real estate. That being said, there are a variety of homes available on lakefront property, from small cottages to expansive estates.

One way of getting the waterfront experience without having to necessarily pay the Lake Michigan premium is to consider a luxury home on an inland lake. Now that being said, you'll still pay a premium for any home on waterfront, but an incredible luxury home on an inland lake is likely to pull at your purse strings a little less than a home on Lake Michigan.
